Mechanism of b-catenin in Pulmonary Fibrosis Following SARS-CoV-2 Infection

In this study, we stably expressed human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (hACE2) in the human non-small cell lung cancer cell line A549 and investigated the role of b-catenin in SARS-CoV-2 infection. Following knocked down of b-catenin, a canonical component of the Wnt/b-catenin signaling pathway, cells were infected with SARS-CoV-2.
