Third-generation sequencing data of Bacillus velezensis CanL-30

Bacillus velezensis CanL-30 was isolated from the leaves of healthy oilseed rape plants growing in Wuhan, Hubei, China. The B. velezensis CanL-30 genome consisted of a single circular chromosome 3,929,635 bp in length, with an average GC content of 46.50%, and did not harbor any plasmids. A total of 3,766 protein coding genes, 26 rRNA, 86 tRNA, and 8 secondary metabolite biosynthesis gene clusters were identified. The products of the gene clusters included surfactin, butirosin A/butirosin B, macrolactin H, bacillaene, fengycin, difficidin, bacillibactin, bacilysin, which might help host plants inhibit pathogens. The four clusters predicted to produce terpene, lanthipeptide-class-ii and T3PKS had no typically been found in other Bacillus SPP. This finding will provide valuable data to explore the biocontrol mechanisms of B. velezensis strains.

The four clusters predicted to produce terpene, lanthipeptide-class-ii and T3PKS had no typically been found in other Bacillus SPP. This finding will provide valuable data to explore the biocontrol mechanisms of B. velezensis strains.
