Development of growth-promoting and biocontrol endophyte resources
The aim of this study is to accurately identify endophytic bacteria, systematically determine their plant growth-promoting traits such as phosphate solubilization, potassium solubilization, and siderophore production, as well as their antagonistic activity against pathogens. Through pot experiments, the growth-promoting and biocontrol effects of these endophytes were investigated. Whole genome sequencing and functional gene mining were employed to deeply analyze the genetic basis and metabolic networks of the endophytes, revealing the functional genes and metabolic pathways related to plant growth promotion and disease control. This study provides a scientific foundation for the development of endophyte-based biofertilizers and biocontrol agents, contributing to the advancement of sustainable agriculture.
