10 TeV Phenomenology of an SO(5) Randall-Sundrum Theory
Randall-Sundrum models are a particular type of five-dimensional physics that involve a compactified extra dimension. Many have argued that such five-dimensional models may be solid qualitative exemplars of the types of physics we expect to be accessible via 10 TeV future colliders. In particular, heavy four-dimensional resonances–interpreted in five dimensions as four-dimensional Kaluza-Klein modes (Fourier modes of broader five-dimensional fields)–are expected to have masses in the multi-TeV range. In this paper, we consider the phenomenology of two elementary annihilation processes (e+e− → ll and e+e− → V V ) via pair production in a simplified SO(5) Randall-Sundrum model with all fields on the bulk and fermions parameterized by a factor c. In particular, we calculate cross-sections and decay widths for final state leptons and vector bosons, both massive and massless.
