Australian Chicken Meat Industry Review 2025: Issues Paper

In February 2025, ABARES was commissioned to conduct an independent review into the relationship between growers and integrated producers in the Australian chicken meat supply chain (the Review). The Review will examine whether there is evidence of market failure within the industry. The Review will also consider information contained in recent inquiries into the industry and examine changes to the industry over time.
