Un saggio di Realpolitik materialista. Descartes politico di Antonio Negri

This essay analyses and updates Negri’s interpretation – undertaken in one of his first monographs – of René Descartes’ thought. It contains an unprecedented hypothesis of political realism (revealed in its limits); a critical hypothesis with regard to the emergence of modern (and bourgeois) political science; a profound meditation that crosses knowledge and power, science and revolution. Against this background, radical differences with other hypotheses in Italian thought are exposed.
