An evaluation of prejudice reporting processes and training needs in early years education

This pilot project explored the reporting procedures in place in early years settings. In particular, we sought to identify some of the factors hindering or facilitating prejudice reporting and reflected on practitioners’ training needs in this area. To achieve these aims, we adopted a case study approach, involving interviews and policy analysis in three different settings in the East of England. The fieldwork was complemented by some observations of the online training about prejudice and inequalities provided by Cambridgeshire County Council to early years practitioners.
