Housing as a Tool of Governance: How Public Housing Policies Shape Society and Politics in Singapore

This paper aims to analyse Singapore’s housing policies and their role in bringing about more equitable social structures and improving the country’s overall economic performance. The analysis is structured into two key objectives: first, to examine the direct and indirect effects of government interventions on citizens; and second, to explore how the implementation of similar policies could address Europe’s ongoing housing crisis.
