ANALYSIS OF RELIABILITY ISSUES OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
This article presents a comprehensive approach to reliability analysis and synthesis in electric power systems, focusing on the causes and consequences of failures such as power shortages, automatic shutdowns, and voltage disturbances. Key components of system reliability—including power supply and electric grid supply—are analyzed with respect to optimal reserve allocation and the capacity of system-forming networks. The report outlines methodological approaches for calculating reliability using balance, structural, and regime models, and introduces mathematical models for failure and reliability processes.
