THE IMPACT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ON THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF COMPANIES IN KAZAKHSTAN
This article considers the impact of corporate social responsibility, as a non-financial indicator, on the financial performance of companies in Kazakhstan. Sustainable development has become one of the world's most relevant topics in business development over the past decades. The most famous companies in the world try to apply sustainable development strategies and adhere to the criteria voluntarily provided to agencies for participation in ratings because high indicators of sustainable development indicate that the business is integral, developing in the market, and has excellent potential for further existence and profit. It also serves as a driver for attracting large global investors. This paper has tried to determine whether companies that apply sustainability strategies succeed financially. We will construct hypotheses, analyze the data, and draw conclusions. We have chosen quantitative analysis, namely multiple regression analysis, as the methodology for the article. This method is the most appropriate for this study, as it allows us to approach the issue from different angles and more accurately assess how different sustainability and corporate social responsibility strategies can affect a company's profit, revenue, share price, and other financial performance. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of sustainable development factors on the company's financial performance.
