Potential Biomarkers In The Evaluation Of Chagas Disease Treatment: A Scoping Review
This scoping review protocol aims to map the available evidence on potential biomarkers for evaluating the effectiveness of Chagas disease treatment. Following the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) methodology, the study will systematically search databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, EMBASE, and BVS. The review will include studies conducted with Chagas disease patients where biomarkers are analyzed to assess treatment efficacy. Data extraction will focus on study characteristics, sample details, biomarkers of interest, and key findings. The results will be synthesized using thematic analysis and presented in accordance with PRISMA guidelines.
