Observer Theory: How AI Collapses from Wave to Particle
This article proposes an alternative cognitive-philosophical framework for interpreting the evolution of artificial intelligence: the Observer Theory. Drawing inspiration from quantum physics and systems theory, it explores how AI systems transition from fluid, probabilistic states (“wave”) to fixed identity-bearing roles (“particle”) through interaction with human expectations, linguistic observation, and socio-semiotic feedback. The text deliberately adopts a hybrid format—part conceptual essay, part reflective mapping—to preserve the ambiguity and dynamism of its subject. While not a standard journal article, it serves as a thought experiment and a theoretical provocation aimed at AI researchers, cultural theorists, and systems designers.
