Causal Algebraic Structural Dynamics: A Recursive Framework for the P ≈ NP Civilization Hypothesis
Causal Algebraic Structural Dynamics: A Recursive Framework for the P ≈ NP Civilization Hypothesis This paper proposes a transdisciplinary framework that bridges causal logic, systems theory, complexity science, and semantic compression to examine whether civilizations can recursively transform NP-class problems into solvable, modular P-structures. Grounded in the concept of causal algebra, the theory introduces a layered architecture of memory governance, corrigibility, semantic anchoring, and modular design. By viewing artificial intelligence as a recursive decompression agent and human cognition as a variable-construction engine, the framework suggests that a hybrid human-AI civilization can approximate P ≈ NP through recursive compression, structural feedback, and epistemic alignment. The work culminates in the proposal of Causal Meta-Civilization, a design model for recursively intelligible systems capable of surviving complexity through self-repair, meaning generation, and dynamic re-alignment. This framework provides a generalized causal infrastructure for emergent knowledge, institutional resilience, and survivable intelligence beyond the collapse point.
