Promotion of sexuality in adult and elderly men with elimination stomas: technological prospecting protocol
The experience of human sexuality is permeated by biopsychosocial issues. In men with elimination stomas, the exercise of sexuality can be impacted by changes in body image and surgical procedures. These changes manifest mainly as erectile dysfunction, retrograde ejaculation or absence of ejaculation. In this context, the promotion of sexual health is an essential component for the quality of life of this population, and therefore, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can be used as care and educational tools for the promotion of sexuality. In general, the history of applications that address sexuality is unknown. A preliminary search did not find any prospective studies or protocols on the subject. Therefore, this study aims to map mobile applications aimed at promoting sexuality in adult and elderly men with elimination stomas.
