Number Systems as Observers - The NSO Model
This theoretical paper introduces the Number System Operator (NSO) model, which proposes that number systems (specifically their base and observation depth) may act as active participants in physical observation. The model links fundamental physical dualisms (such as space-time and momentum-coordinate) to the structural behavior of mathematical entities across different numeral bases. The paper formalizes a digital operator of observability, studies its non-commutative modes, and analyzes the role of numerical representation in generating uncertainty. It includes examples based on Pythagorean triples and higher-degree equations and suggests physical interpretations of numerical instability. Limitations and prospects for integration with quantum theory, relativity, and information theory are also discussed.
