Neuro-Health Chatbot: Leveraging Neuroscience Principles and AI for Mental Health Support
By leveraging insights from neuroscience, particularly those concerning human cognition and behavior, my study suggests combining natural language processing algorithms with affective computing to develop a chatbot capable of understanding and responding to user emotions accurately. This fusion of neuroscience and AI in the realm of chatbots has received limited attention in existing literature, prompting me to conduct a thorough review of literature to establish the originality of this approach. Using the Python programming language, I built the chatbot app and deployed it on a web-based platform for widespread access. Its emphasis lies on interactivity and user-friendliness, featuring intuitive input methods for seamless user engagement. The app operates by analyzing textual inputs from users through sentiment analysis algorithms to discern emotional states and formulate appropriate responses.
