Virtual Particles as the Essence of Gravity An Emergent Model of Spatial Tension and Information Nodes
This theoretical paper proposes a paradigm shift in our understanding of gravity. Rather than a force mediated by a hypothetical graviton, gravity is redefined as an emergent field of spatial tension generated by the reconfiguration of virtual particles—conceived here as structured information nodes embedded within a layered vacuum substrate. Building on prior work involving imaginary space, dimensional emergence, and informational cosmology, the paper presents a unified framework in which: Virtual particles are not fleeting quantum fluctuations, but tension-bearing entities with internal temporal coherence; Gravitational fields emerge from the alignment and strain gradients of these information nodes; The elusive "graviton" is reconceptualized as a misframing: virtual particles act as indirect gravitons, not carriers but generative substrates; Space is not a smooth continuum but a multi-layered tension net driven by entropy, reorganized through informational pressure. This model bridges concepts from quantum field theory, general relativity, and information physics, offering a new ontological foundation for understanding gravity—not as a force, but as a topological self-regulation mechanism within the informational architecture of the universe.
