HIV Prevalence, Virological Suppression, and Consistent Condom Use among Social Venue-Going Men in Zimbabwe: Insights from the 2022 Priorities for Local AIDS Control Efforts (PLACE) Surveys

To inform prevention and treatment programming, we assessed HIV prevalence, virological suppression, and HIV-related behaviours among men at social venues in four Zimbabwean cities and towns. We compared the risks of HIV acquisition and transmission, care needs, and engagement with HIV prevention and care services among men who reported paying for sex and attending social venues in the past 12 months with those who did not report paying for sex during this period.
