Quantum Horizon Frequency Trap (QHFT): A Pre-registered Oscillatory Dark Energy Scenario
Quantum Horizon Frequency Trap (QHFT) is a model in which extremely light, long-wavelength field modes are confined by a fixed frequency pattern determined by the geometry of the cosmic horizon. This confinement produces a stable oscillation in the expansion rate, with the same timing observed across galaxy clustering, supernova distances, and weak lensing measurements. The process transfers energy periodically into and out of the dark energy component, while a pressure-balancing mechanism keeps the dark energy equation-of-state nearly constant. This preserves consistency with cosmic microwave background observations. The model specifies an exact oscillation period and phase, a small but measurable modulation in the Hubble expansion, and consistent detection across multiple cosmological probes without creating tension with other datasets. Confirmation of the predicted period, phase, and amplitude in all relevant measurements would validate the model, while failure to meet these predictions would rule it out.
