This scoping review aims to explore and map the current genetic polymorphisms related to stunting in populations in Southeast Asian countries based on evidence from the scientific literature and to identify evidence gaps to inform future research. The research question posed in this scoping review is: What genetic polymorphisms have been identified as being associated with stunted growth in children in Southeast Asia? The countries in Southeast Asia include Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste.
