Scoping protocol for the construction and validation of an instrument based on the SBAR mnemonic for the transition of care in the pediatric intensive care unit.

A scoping review is an essential method to map and analyze the scientific evidence on the transition of care using the SBAR mnemonic in the pediatric intensive care unit. This study aims to identify and synthesize the guidelines and empirical indicators that support the construction and validation of an effective communication tool for the transition of care in pediatrics. Following the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute and using the PCC (Population, Concept and Context) strategy, the review will be conducted in relevant databases such as MEDLINE, LILACS and BDENF. The review protocol has been registered on the Open Science Framework platform to ensure transparency and reproducibility. The results of this review will contribute to standardizing and qualifying care, reducing communication errors and promoting pediatric patient safety.
