Optimal Timing for Octreotide Administration in Adult Patients with Chylothorax: A Scoping Review

This project aims to analyze the ideal time to initiate octreotide treatment in adult patients with chylothorax. To this end, a systematic search will be performed in relevant databases using terms related to adults, octreotide and chylothorax. The selection of studies will be carried out independently by two reviewers, with a third reviewer consulted to make the final decision in case of a tie between the first two. The methodology will follow the JBI guidelines for scoping reviews and PRISMA-ScR guidelines.
