Building A Modern and Globally Accessible Open-Access Repository : Knowledge Commons Works

As the diversity of DH practitioners and DH products grows, the infrastructure that supports work in DH must grow and evolve. Knowledge Commons Works (KCWorks), based on the Invenio framework, is a new open-access repository launched in Fall 2024 by the Knowledge Commons team built to address these needs. This panel will feature a set of interdisciplinary talks from the KCWorks team and will cover topics including developing infrastructure in a global context, repository and form design for global audiences, generative AI, data storage, and building community with repositories. We will leave time for discussion and feedback from the audience.
