Geometry Emergent: On the Informational Field Nature of Spacetime
This paper proposes a reexamination of space not as a passive geometric container, but as an emergent phenomenon of dynamic information field structures. Building on quantum field theory (QFT), quantum vacuum fluctuations, and the increasing role of information in fundamental physics, we suggest that spacetime geometry itself arises from field-based entanglement, tension networks, and informational compression. We trace existing physical models—such as the holographic principle, entanglement-based spacetime reconstruction, and loop quantum gravity—as partial glimpses of this deeper structure, and argue that “space-as-field” provides a unified, philosophically coherent and physically plausible substrate model. Rather than replacing mainstream frameworks, this perspective integrates them under a new interpretation: space is not where the field is—it is what the field becomes.
