A scoping review of longitudinal studies exploring patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS)

This scoping review will provide an overview of longitudinal research on patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS), aiming to map current evidence on its progression, outcomes, and study designs. The review will help identify gaps in the literature and guide future research directions, particularly regarding prognosis, long-term outcomes, and commonly used evaluation tools in PFPS cohorts.
