SpectralCorn: Infinite Fields, Harmonic Kernels, and the Mathematics of New Crops
SpectralCorn: A S.T.E.A.M.-Aligned Framework for Mathematical Resonance Description: SpectralCorn is a modular framework for exploring the hidden structure of prime numbers through spectral operators inspired by the Riemann zeta function. Each operator—called a spectral crop—is defined by a harmonic kernel, visualized, sonified, and simulated in Python. This project is explicitly designed for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) education and outreach. Science: Models harmonic resonance, self-adjoint operators, and quantum analogs of number theory. Technology: Includes executable simulations, spectral visualizations, and code for interactive demos. Engineering: Explores analog implementations via circuits, waveguides, and dynamic feedback systems. Art: Generates fractal visual fields, prime-based audio, and metaphoric kernel landscapes for creative exploration. Mathematics: Grounded in rigorous operator theory, Fourier analysis, and the spectral structure of primes. SpectralCorn invites learners, artists, physicists, and mathematicians to "plant" their own mathematical kernels and explore the infinite field of number-theoretic resonance. Keywords: Riemann Hypothesis, spectral operator, STEAM, harmonic kernel, prime gaps, mathematical art, quantum simulation, dynamic systems
