Rapid Cellular Senescence Is the Fundamental Cause of Human Diseases: A Revolutionary Hypothesis from Fetal Life to Early Death

This project presents a bold and transformative hypothesis: that rapid cellular senescence is not a side effect, but the primary and universal root cause of most human diseases—from developmental disorders in the fetus, to diabetes, cancer, immune failure, cardiovascular disease, autism, and even sudden death in healthy individuals. The early transition of cells into senescence, long before old age, opens the door for pathological processes to begin silently, often undetected until advanced stages. We propose the urgent need for a new medical standard: routine screening of cellular aging and telomere morphology in all age groups—even in newborns and healthy youth—to predict and prevent disease before symptoms appear. This paradigm shift may unlock a new era in predictive medicine and early intervention strategies.
