Adherence to Oral Antineoplastic Therapy: Toxicity Management and Development of a Digital Solution

This research project aims to explore and understand the difficulties and needs of individuals undergoing oral antineoplastic therapy (OAT) at home. The goal is to develop personalized and systematic nursing interventions within oncology day hospital consultations and to create a digital solution that promotes treatment adherence. Quantitative and qualitative methods will be employed to collect data on barriers, adverse effects, and treatment experiences. The investigation will result in the systematization of a nursing consultation model and the design of a telehealth application, incorporating functionalities that address the identified needs, ensuring effective monitoring and continuous nursing support for individuals in treatment.
