Prevalence of Bullying and Lateral Violence Against Nursing Students by Clinical Tutors: A Scoping Review
In recent years, increasing attention has been paid to episodes of lateral hostility, intimidation, and bullying behaviors perpetrated by nurses, particularly clinical tutors, toward nursing students during their clinical training. These dynamics, often underestimated, may significantly compromise students’ learning experience, psychological well-being, and long-term commitment to the nursing profession. In light of this, a scoping review is warranted to explore the prevalence of the phenomenon, map the available evidence, and identify existing knowledge gaps in the current literature.
