Why the Where Matters Less: Job Autonomy, Task Interdependence, and the Contextual Catalysts of OCB in Hybrid Work
This study explores why work-from-home (WFH) reduces Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) for some employees but not others, testing moderators like job autonomy and task interdependence. Using the same within-person design as the base paper, it reveals how contextual factors buffer or amplify setting-driven OCB differences, offering actionable strategies for HR to optimize hybrid work policies.
