Impacts of obesity on cognitive function in older adults: a systematic review.

This systematic review aims to gather the most current evidence regarding the impacts of obesity on the cognitive function of elderly people. This study will include original articles, with analytical observational epidemiological studies, that present obesity as an exposure and that evaluate cognitive function as the main outcome. Review studies, editorials, dissertations, letters, conference abstracts and opinion studies will be excluded. There will be no restrictions on language and publication time.
