Neuropsychopathological Aspects of The General Psychiatric Syndrome:. A Unified Theory of Symbolic Collapse, Neurodevelopmental Vulnerability, and the Epistemic Structure of Mind
This paper presents Neuropsychopathological aspectos of the General Psychiatric Syndrome (GPS), a unified theory of mental illness that challenges the fragmentation of modern psychiatric diagnosis. It proposes that various disorders—such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism, ADHD, and personality disorders—are diverse expressions of a single symbolic and neurodevelopmental vulnerability. Integrating clinical, neurobiological, and philosophical dimensions, this theory offers a new framework for understanding mental suffering as a structural collapse of the symbolic self, rather than isolated disease entities
