Semantic Phase Condensation and Mutation Dynamics in Entropic Information Fields
This paper proposes a theoretical framework for understanding how semantic information fields undergo phase transitions into stable matter-like configurations under specific entropic and energetic conditions. Drawing from principles of information theory, thermodynamics, and symbolic dynamics, we model the interaction between continuous informational flows (semantic density fields) and entropy gradients to identify the thresholds at which discrete, stable “semantic condensates” emerge. These condensates are hypothesized to correspond to observable particles or persistent symbolic structures. The model incorporates the influence of observer-field interference, introducing a critical interference limit beyond which semantic condensation is destabilized. A multi-layered architecture is outlined—comprising energy influx, entropic compression, semantic resonance, and mutation attractors—to describe how meaning-stable matter may arise from the flux of information. This framework lays the groundwork for unifying physical and semantic emergence under a common entropic logic, with implications for quantum ontology, consciousness modeling, and the foundations of symbolic realism.
