Statistical and experimental systematic uncertainties on EWPOs at the Z pole in FCC-ee
Abstract. The FCC-ee Z run, with a total of 6 1012 Z produced, provides an extraordinary opportunityto test the existence of more particle or phenomena via precision electroweak measurements. This notegives an estimate of realistic precisions that could be achieved on the experimental side, and clarifies theassumptions. One assumption that is essential is the absence of any flavour changing neutral currents(FCNC), since double tags are routinely used throughout. Here, only the experimental precisions thatare likely to be achieved are discussed, setting the target for the accuracy with which the theoreticalcalculations must be performed. Achieving these precisions in real data is conditional to a number ofdetector and accelerator requirements being fulfilled.
