Exploring The Experience of People with Cystic Fibrosis and Their Partners on the Journey Towards Parenthood and its Impact on Psychological Well-Being.

This qualitative study will explore the experiences of PwCF and their partners as they navigate the journey toward parenthood in the context of evolving treatment options, particularly CFTR modulator therapies. It aims to understand how couples make decisions, cope with challenges, and experience potential shifts in identity, psychological well-being, and relationships. The study uses reflexive thematic analysis of individual interviews to examine perceptions of support, barriers, and reproductive justice, ultimately providing recommendations for better care and guidance for PwCF pursuing parenthood.
