Il ”Futuro made in Europe” dei giovani. Pratiche partecipative e comunicative del partito paneuropeo Volt

The paper examines the relationship between young Italians and political participation and their approach to participation and communication in the supranational public sphere. We analyze the case of Volt, the first pan-European party. Volt was born as a result of the impulse of some young people who try to explore innovative forms of political participation in line with their "de facto" cosmopolitan everyday life. The hypothesis is that Volt is the political expression of "Europeans" who re-approach politics from a "post-national" perspective and who see the EU as a natural framework for their "everyday participation". The research, based on document analysis and interviews with Italian Volters, examines the participatory and communicative practices of the "network of young Europeans", studies the visions of Europe and the value orientations that guide them, and analyzes their organizational models and communication strategies. The research results confirm that Volt has a profound generational characterization.
