Financial Strain as Mediator for Peer Pressure and Social Inclusivity of Grade 11 Technical- Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) Students

This study examines how peer pressure, financial strain, and the need for social inclusion impact the academic performance and social well-being of Grade 11 students in the Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) strand in Metro Manila Philippines. It explores the role of household income in shaping these factors, finding that students from higher-income families experience less peer pressure, while social inclusion remains consistent across income levels. The study emphasizes the importance of addressing peer pressure and financial strain and suggests that schools implement financial literacy programs, mental health support, and foster positive peer interactions to enhance students' well-being and academic success.
