A summary and outlook for SOTANCP5

\nThe present contribution provides an overview of the SOTANCP5 conference and the progress that was reported in state-of-the-art experiment and theoretical cluster studies. An exciting array of topics ranging from correlations, halo nuclei, clustering in reactions and nuclear astrophysics, alpha-gas states, ab intio theory, alpha-particle like cluster structures, the role of the continuum and the latest developments in experimental facilities. These contributions are brought together in the following summary. Some additional thoughts and perspectives are also provided.\n
