Photoinduced\nLigand-to-Copper Charge Transfer for\nAryl Decarboxylative Allylation, Thiolation, and Bromination
Herein,\naryl decarboxylative allylation, thiolation, and bromination\nreactions via photoinduced ligand-to-copper charge transfer are described.\nUtilizing inexpensive copper metal, the transformations of various\naryl carboxylic acids enable the rapid synthesis of the corresponding\nalkene, thioether, and aryl bromide derivatives under visible light\nirradiation, which offers significant synthetic value. The reaction\nconditions are mild and straightforward, exhibiting a broad substrate\ncompatibility. Furthermore, this method can be applied for the late-stage\nmodification of complex drug molecules.
