Insect Cuticle Protein\nNanoassemblies without Nonspecific\nImmune Response for Acute Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus\naureus Pneumonia Remission
The emergence and proliferation of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) pneumonia poses a significant\nglobal public health threat. Herein, the significant remission effect\nagainst acute MRSA pneumonia was realized through the insect cuticle\nprotein (OfCPH-2) nanoassemblies without\nnonspecific immune response. The lung repair results could be attributed\nto the transforming of M1-type to M2-type macrophage polarization\nand the repression of Th17 cell differentiation in mice spleens through\nthe intervention of OfCPH-2 nanoassemblies.\nThese findings offer a valuable insight into the application of insect\nprotein-based materials as effective antidrug resistant strain agents\nas well as a powerful strategy for acute MRSA pneumonia.
