NIR-II Light-Driven\nMultifunctional Nanozymes PS@CS\nfor Efficient Therapy against Melanoma and Post-tumor Surgery Infection
Melanoma, the most prevalent form of skin cancer, is\nprimarily\ntreated with surgical intervention. However, complete tumor cell removal\nis challenging, and surgical wounds are prone to infection, complicating\ntreatment and increasing costs. The successful treatment of melanoma\ngenerally requires multifunctional agents that are coordinated in\ntumor therapy and wound healing. In this study, we developed platinum\n(Pt)- and selenium (Se)-based nanozymes, Pt-Se@Chitosan (PS@CS), which\nexhibit synergistic antitumor and bactericidal efficacy attributed\nto their multienzyme activity and strong photothermal conversion efficiency.\nFurthermore, we engineered PS@CS hydrogels capable of inhibiting tumor\nregrowth postsurgery and accelerating healing of infected wounds.\nThe PS@CS and PS@CS hydrogels presented herein incorporate characteristics\nincluding catalytic therapy, photothermal therapy, antibacterial properties,\nand skin damage healing, providing an innovative and comprehensive\ntherapeutic approach for melanoma treatment.
