Photoinduced HCl-Mediated\nCross-Dehydrogenative Coupling\nof Quinolines with Alcohols and Ethers

Via light irradiation, cross-dehydrogenative\ncoupling of quinolines\nwith alcohols and ethers was achieved under mild conditions. A stoichiometric\namount of HCl and room temperature were necessary to promote the reaction.\nA green Minisci-type cross-dehydrogenative coupling reaction was performed\nwithout an oxidant or a transition-metal catalyst.
