Au-Acyclic\nDiaminocarbene-Linked Homochiral Covalent\nOrganic Frameworks: Synthesis and Asymmetric Catalytic Application

Chiral covalent organic framework (CCOF)-based heterogeneous\ncatalysts\nare the new hot topic in asymmetric catalysis. The chiral metal-acyclic\ndiaminocarbene complexes (M-ADCs), on the other hand, make up a powerful\nclass of homogeneous catalysts for various asymmetric organic transformations.\nThe integration of chiral M-ADCs with COFs into a single platform\nwill undoubtedly lead to a new breed of heterogeneous asymmetric catalysts.\nHere, we report the synthesis of Au-ADC-linked CCOFs via a metal-mediated\nnucleophilic addition approach. This research not only provides a\nnew type of COF linkage but also affords a new kind of heterogeneous\ncatalysts for asymmetric catalysis.
