Unusual incidental findings on panoramic radiography: a case series.

Interpretation of panoramic radiographs requires a broad knowledge of normal anatomical structures, pathologic disorders, and a diverse array of anomalies. The aim of this report is to present a series of 5 incidental findings rarely documented on panoramic radiography, including 2 examples of facial adornments, 1 example of retained surgical material, 1 example of a developmental variant, and 1 example of a patient positioning artifact.
