Synthesis and characterization Superparamagnetic Coated Fe3O4-Cs @SiO2 – Cr (III) complex Nanoparticles for the Loading and Delivery of Metformin

A natural material called chitosan (Cs) was used to coat a superparamagnetic nanocomposite made of Fe3O4-Cs@SiO2-MT-Cr(III). Using FTIR, XRD, SEM, TEM, and dynamic light scattering analyzer, the [email protected] (III) nanoparticles were characterized. The use of magnetic chitosan, which has attracted much attention as a natural polymer and a useful supplement, offers several benefits, including biodegradability and biocompatibility. In this work, structurally defined metformin was immobilized with a long tail of 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane (TMOS) in order to immobilize the chromium complex on the magnetic metformin bond bearing chitosan. One easy, affordable and environmentally safe method is to use the synthetic Fe3O4-chitosan@metformin-Cr(III) compound (Fe3O4-CS@Met-Cr(III)). Blood glucose testing strips were used to measure. The mean fasting and random glucose readings were lower in the metformin and metformin plus nanoparticle-treated groups (P < 0.05 and P < 0.05, respectively). Additionally, the kidney, liver, and pancreatic tissues in the groups treated with metformin plus nanoparticles performed better than those in the metformin-treated groups, according to the study's findings. SEM and TEM image examinations demonstrate the spherical form, average size of Fe3O4 NP samples, CS-coated nanoparticles (NP-Cs), and Fe 3O4-CS@Met-Cr (III), all of which are suitable sizes for nanocarriers.
