Luxations du genou : une défaillance multisystémique
Although knee dislocations are uncommon, they are associated with a high rate of severe neurovascular and ligamentous complications. Early diagnosis remains challenging because spontaneous reduction mostly occurs prior to the initial assessment, often masking the severity of the injury. However, prompt identification is critical to prevent irreversible neurovascular damage and chronic multidirectional instability. Rehabilitation takes a long time (approximately 18 months), and long-term follow-up is mandatory given the high incidence of post-traumatic osteoarthritis and frequent need for professional or athletic reorientation.
