Digital Twin and Artificial Intelligence Technologies to Assess the Type IA Endoleak
This physics-informed digital twin and AI framework successfully validated its capability to accurately and objectively predict the risk of type IA endoleak following EVAR. The derived ERI offers a significant quantitative advantage over traditional static anatomical measurements, establishing it as a highly reliable safety tool (100% NPV) for ruling out endoleak risk. This technology represents a critical advancement toward personalized EVAR planning, enabling surgeons to proactively identify high-risk anatomies and adjust treatment strategies to minimize post-procedural complications. Further large-scale, multicenter prospective trials are necessary to confirm these findings and support clinical adoption.
