Surgery for recurrent gliomas: Feasible, worthwhile, both, or neither?
Abstract Recurrent gliomas form a considerable patient population in neurooncological centers. Multiple treatments have been advised and administered but many of them have not shown consistent survival benefits. Many of these treatments are also difficult to access and afford for most of the general population. We have evaluated the role of surgery for recurrent gliomas in terms of the quality of life of the patient.
