Shaping interprofessional identity and attitudes: scenario-based training in oral–systemic patient management
A single-day, scenario-based IPE intervention significantly improved interprofessional identity and selected attitudes among health professions students in Türkiye. Enhancements in belonging, commitment, and teamwork demonstrate that short, structured SBL activities can bridge disciplinary divides, clarify roles, and strengthen readiness for collaborative, patient-centered care. Incorporating such interventions into core curricula and aligning accreditation standards with interprofessional competencies could support the integration of oral health into holistic healthcare delivery.
