Construction of three-dimensional model of osteosarcoma organoid based on electrochemical sensor detection: Analysis of biological molecular characteristics and drug resistance

Osteosarcoma is a highly malignant bone tumor that is prone to early metastasis and has a high recurrence rate. Traditional diagnostic methods have limitations and cannot meet the clinical demand for early diagnosis and precise treatment. Electrochemical sensors, as an emerging detection technology, have shown great potential in the field of medical testing. Their high sensitivity, high specificity, and fast and convenient characteristics make them of important application value in early diagnosis, treatment monitoring, and drug resistance assessment of diseases. In the study of osteosarcoma, electrochemical sensors can be used to detect tumor markers, monitor cellular metabolic changes, and drug responses, providing new means for a deeper understanding of the biological characteristics and drug resistance mechanisms of osteosarcoma. The aim of this study is to explore the construction of a three-dimensional model of osteosarcoma organoids based on electrochemical sensor detection and its application in the analysis of biological molecular characteristics and drug resistance research, in order to provide new strategies and methods for the diagnosis and treatment of osteosarcoma. The study successfully constructed a three-dimensional model of osteosarcoma organoid based on Matrigel matrix gel, and revealed the influence of three-dimensional microenvironment on osteosarcoma cell characteristics from the molecular mechanism level using electrochemical sensors. The advantages of the 3D model in drug resistance research were verified, providing new ideas and methods for the diagnosis and treatment of osteosarcoma, as well as new research directions and examples for the application of electrochemical sensors in medical testing. Abstract
